As part of activities for the optimization of the reception system for international students, an innovative management system - Welcome Point Network - has been developed, for the assistance of students both in the pre-arrival and post-arrival steps in Messina.
The system is based on the invaluable collaboration of UNIME Student Ambassador and is articulated on two levels: reception at the Welcome point (the physical structure for coordinating activities) and guidance for each university campus through a reference Ambassador coordinator.
In the so-called Central Pole, the ambassador coordinator is Aklesia Berihu Mekonnen (aklesia.mekonnen@studenti.unime.it) who is the point of contact between the Welcome Point, the international students (included in whatsapp group chat).
At the Welcome point the coordinating ambassador is Suresh Kumar Yaddla (sureshkumar.yaddla@unime.it).
