The Academic Support Unit serves as the interface between students and the degree programme. Its main activities, aimed at ensuring student satisfaction, are designed to address the various needs students may encounter during their academic journey.

Here are the main activities:

• information, assistance, and guidance services for students through the assignment of an academic adviser for each degree programme and the operation of two academic offices, one at the Papardo Campus and the other at the Annunziata Campus;
• orientation services for prospective, current, and graduating students;
• assistance with the process of securing internships and work placements;
• establishment of new agreements with external companies at the request of individual students;
• organisation of regular meetings with representatives from the professional world to discuss the alignment of degree programme curricula with the training needs of the sector;
• continuous monitoring of students’ academic progress, in order to gather information on the effectiveness of teaching activities, identify potential issues, and determine corrective actions to be taken, including analysis of data on students’ backgrounds, academic pathways, and outcomes;
• support in preparing the Annual Report and the Annual and Cyclical Review of degree programmes;
• collection of feedback from graduating students and partner companies;
• entry of courses and their respective instructors into the University’s academic registry platform;
• collaboration with the Director, Coordinators, and academic staff in the planning, management, and oversight of the degree programmes’ teaching activities;
• preparation of classroom schedules, class timetables, and examination timetables;
• organisation of, and support for, seminars promoted by the various degree programmes;
• support for the self-assessment and accreditation process for degree programmes.
